Man Vs Machine (MVM) was formed on the 1st June 2005. I started MVM after being a member in a UK clan called RID (Robots in disguise).
We played for a few months in Desert Combat until Half Life 2 came out and we started to enjoy the mod Counter Strike: Source.

The time difference and latency between the two countries became tiresome though so I thought it was time to start an Australian Clan and so MVM is born.

MVM stands for Man V's Machine and is based on the heavy metal band Fear Factory's concept with each members name representing the name of a Fear Factory song or album titles.
Not only do I personally love Fear Factory but they are involved with games themselves having recorded instrumentals for games and also having their own gaming site.
We all love online gaming and believe the best way to enjoy games are as a community.

Man Vs Machine strives to be an enjoyable community that boasts fair play and a friendly environment for all members to play and compete in.

I owe a big thanks to RID clan for their help getting me started with the basic forum site.
